Our Inter-Island ferries operate between Orkney's mainland and thirteen beautiful island destinations.

We regret to advise passengers that all sailings between Tingwall, Rousay, Egilsay and Wyre on Tuesday 27th October have been cancelled.

This is due to the forecasted weather conditions deteriorating sooner than expected.

Our teams are in the process of contacting all our affected passengers.

We regret to advise passengers that the 0740 departure from Kirkwall to Sanday and Eday and its subsequent return on Tuesday 27th October are now cancelled.

We are pleased to advise that the Nordic Sea service to Eday, Sanday and Stronsay will resume from Thursday 29th October.

We would like to advise customers that MV Eynhallow is being taken out of service on Saturday 31st October to complete essential maintenance. MV Toplander will operate the service until 14:10. The MV Eynhallow is expected to be back in service from the 14:10 Rousay departure.

Due to limited capacity on MV Toplander customers travelling with a vehicle are advised to book prior to travel.

To provide additional resilience the Nordic Sea will shadow MV Toplander to provide a foot passenger service.

Bookings for all sailings up to 14:10 must be booked by calling our offices.

We regret to advise all scheduled MV Nordic Sea sailings between Eday, Sanday & Stronsay on Saturday 31st October have been cancelled.

This is due to the vessel being re-routed to provide passenger resilience whilst carrying out essential maintenance on the Rousay, Egilsay & Wyre Route.

We would like to advise customers that the following sailings will go ahead (weather dependent) on the Shapinsay route on Tuesday 27th October:

0730 departure from Shapinsay
0815 departure from Kirkwall

We regret to advise that the Hoy Head Service today is running behind schedule.

This is due to high tides preventing docking.

It is expected that the 08:55 arrival will now dock at approximately 10:15 causing approximately hours delay to the service.

Crew will attempt to make up lost time, however this will be weather permitting.
