Our Inter-Island ferries operate between Orkney's mainland and thirteen beautiful island destinations.

We regret to advise that we will need to take the Hoy Head out of service, due to an ongoing engine issue that requires further repairs.

The vessel will remain in service until the 0935 arrival at Houton on Saturday 29^th November.

The 0950 departure to Lyness and Flotta has been cancelled.

The service will resume at the 1415 Houton with the Thorsvoe.

This will mean that there is reduced vehicle space on board and we would advise booking to secure space.

We have contacted customers whose bookings have been affected by the reduction in deck space.

It is expected that the repair may take up to two weeks to complete and updates will be provided as soon as they are available.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

We would like to advise, our North Ronaldsay will go ahead on Saturday the 29th however there is no guarantee berthing will be possible due to the predicted swell conditions.

The times for this service are as follows:

- Depart Kirkwall: 05:15

- Arrive North Ronaldsay: 08:00

- Depart North Ronaldsay: 08:45

- Arrive Kirkwall: 11:30

We would like to advise, our service to Eday, Sanday and Stronsay will go ahead on Sunday the 30th of November however it will sail to a different schedule.

This is to accommodate travel to a community event.

The schedule of this sailing is as follows:

Depart Kirkwall: 09:00

Arrive Eday: 10:15

Depart Eday: 10:20

Arrive Sanday: 10:35

Depart Sanday: 10:40

Arrive Stronsay: 11:05

Depart Stronsay: 11:10

Arrive Kirkwall: 12:45

We would like to advise that the Nordic Sea will be providing a foot passenger service to Eday Sanday and Stronsay over the winter months.

This service will run from Monday 20th October to Saturday 28th December.
